Pelvic Rehab for Kids
Mobile pediatric physical therapy practice working with children and their families managing bowel and bladder dysfunction

Pediatric Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Many kiddos struggle with conditions impacting their pelvic floor health and function. These conditions include urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, urine/stool withholding, and so many more. Pediatric pelvic floor physical therapy uses a variety of non-invasive treatment techniques to re-establish healthy bowel and bladder habits, rectify muscle imbalances and strength deficits, and enhance coordination and breath control. Most importantly, pelvic floor physical therapy provides families with the education, tools and support to help their kiddos treat these very stressful conditions.

Dr. Nicole Neer, PT, DPT

I received my doctor of physical therapy from UT Health San Antonio, and found myself drawn to pediatric physical therapy early in my career. I am fortunate to have worked in a variety of pediatric settings, gaining experience and knowledge along the way. Most recently, I worked with my smallest of patients in the Neonatal ICU. My interest in pelvic health was in part fueled by my own pregnancy/postpartum experiences, and hearing about the concerns and experiences of others.

It’s particularly beneficial for addressing issues like bowel and bladder dysfunction and pelvic pain.

We work with children of various ages, from toddlers to teenagers, who are experiencing bowel and bladder dysfunction.
